Sign up for an account to start earning points. You earn 5 points for every dollar you spend in our store (excluding tax & shipping costs). Every point equals 1 cent towards redeemable rewards.

How to Earn Points

You earn 15 points just for creating a new account. To sign up, click on "Account" at the top right corner of the screen if you are on a computer or at the bottom when using the app. Then click "Sign Up" on the screen that appears. You can enter your email address and create a password. A link will be sent to your email address to confirm it is correct.

Once signed up, when you sign into your account and place your order, your points will be automatically added to your account. Points will last a year before expiring, so don't forget to use them!

You can also earn points by liking us on Facebook or following us on Instagram. Points can't be applied to previous orders, so sign up before you place your orders.

How to Use Your Points

The first step to using your points on any device is to sign into your account to view your points balance.

On a computer, after signing in, look for a star icon in the bottom right corner. If you cannot find it, under our main menu in the explore tab, you will also find the BookBuddyBags Points tab. This is where you can discover eligible discounts and redeem your points.

On the BookBuddyBags App, you can view your points under "Account." However, you cannot redeem them in the app; you must do this in a web browser. Once you obtain the discount code, you can use it like a gift card.

Redeeming Your Points

To redeem points during your next purchase, log in to your account and open the star icon. It will show your available points. Click the button that says "Ways to Redeem." It will explain that 100 points = $1, and clicking the "Redeem" button will allow you to select how many points you wish to use.

After choosing how many points to redeem, click "Redeem," and a discount code will appear. Copy the code to paste it during checkout or click the "Apply Code" button.

If you lose the code before checkout, open the star icon and click "Your Rewards" to find your coupon code.

Applying Your Discount Code

During checkout on a computer, find the discount code area on the right side of the screen. Type or paste your code there and click "Apply." A notification will show that your code has been applied, along with details on the discount received.

On a mobile device, tap "View Order Summary" at the top of the screen to open a popup where you can apply your code.

Important Notes

Points don't work on previous orders and cannot be combined with other discounts.
